2010 Youth Ministry Calendar of Activities
Youth Ministry, beginning September 2009, will be for 8th-12th grades.
The following Calendar was discussed and approved at the Core Group Meeting on September 13, 2009.
MEETINGS:
1. Youth Core Group meets once a month, Second Sundays, 3 to 5pm in Youth Center
2. Regular Meetings twice a month on Sundays from 3 to 5pm – Youth Center. (1st and 3rd Sundays)
3. Special Gatherings as scheduled
*Plan to start meetings with an ice breaker or large group event (i.e. Capture the Flag, Dodge ball, etc.)

September 6th: SPORTS SUNDAY – Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football 3-5pm
September 13th: Core Group Meeting
September 20th: Youth Volleyball & Board/Video Games, 3-5pm
October 2009
Oct. 4th: Core Group Meeting (NOTE MTG DATE CHANGE)
Oct. 11th: Bazaar – Help with all Youth and Children’s Booths, Noon – 7pm
October 18th: Flag Football, Volleyball & Board/Video Games 3-5pm, KC Hall
November 2009
November 1st: Soccer & Softball/Board & Video Games, 3-5pm
November 8th: Core Group Meeting
Assist with Parish Clean Up Day, Date TBA
November 15th: Social Service Project – Feeding the Homeless, 3-5pm, KC Hall (Check on Star of Hope Mission, Salvation Army and Martha’s Kitchen as possible sites to visit and help.) POSTPONED
November 21 or 22 – Basketball Games at Marian Park Gym (Reserve Gym), 3-5pm
December 2009
December 6th: Steubenville Info Meeting (Parents/Youth) & Board and Video GAMES SUNDAY – 3-5pm, KC Hall
December 13th: YMAST and Core Group Social & Core Group Meeting
December 6 & 13th: Franceanne Bunner Coat & Sweater Drive – Social Service Project
December 19 & 20th: Bake Sale, Sat. & Sun., after all Masses
December – MONDAY NIGHTS – Basketball and Tournament at SFDS – Check with SFDS

January 9th: Southwest Deanery Sports Night – St. Frances de Sales Gym, 730-1130pm, Cost is $3 person and bring a snack to share (Volleyball, Basketball, Dodge ball, Video games and more) – Ck with SFDS
January 10th: Core Group Meeting – Youth Center
January 16th: Car Wash, 10am – 2pm, Reserve site at Walmart/Gessner
January 22nd: Friday Night Lights, 7-10pm, KC HALL
February 2010

Feb. 17th: Distribute Rice Bowls – sponsor this Fund raiser for the Hungry
